The Best Farmers Markets to Visit in Rhode Island

One of the best parts of Rhode Island is the number of farmers markets which have fresh fruits, veggies, beauty and wellness gifts, and so much more!

Not only is visiting farmers markets a great way to enjoy some fresh air, but it’s also a fun day out with family and friends. We’ve pulled together some of our favorite farmers markets in Rhode Island that you must add to your bucket list: 

  • Mt. Hope Farm. Located in the heart of Bristol, Rhode Island, this is a historic site and farm that is owned and operated by the Mount Hope Trust in Bristol. This farmers market is a year-round market that offers veggies, fruits, meats, eggs, cheeses, seafood, honey and more! You can also find some of your favorite soap and lotions, cleaning products, local crafts and more!
  • Tiverton Farmers Market. Right smack in the middle of the cozy town of Tiverton, this market connects the community to fresh and local produce, meats, seafood, baked goods, vegan & vegetarian options, and prepared foods.
  • Pawtucket Wintertime Farmers Market. This market is made up of over 80 different local vendors with a huge variety of products, including veggies, apples, cranberries, and other produce. Not to mention, they have a selection of cheeses, breads, soaps, cosmetics, candles, preserves and salsas, candy, chocolate, tea and more! At this market, some favorite local brands such as Rhody Fresh, Rhode Island Spa Products and Narragansett Creamery are featured. 
  • South Kingstown Farmers Market. South Kingstown, voted 101 best farmers markets in America in 2016, has been around since 1982 and is the longest running farmers market in Rhode Island. Here, you can learn more about sustainable farming and agriculture, enjoy some shopping, the live musicians, fresh cold pressed juice, and coffee, and more!
